I am the creator, founder and editor-in-chief of the independent magazine GIRL FIEND, which centres on women in music. Our first issue was the recipient of the BBC Best New Magazine Brand award in 2017. We released our sold-out print second issue in summer 2018.

ABOUT GF: GIRL FIEND is an independent magazine dedicated entirely to women in music. Armed with independent, forward thinking and channelling a riot-grrrl ethos, GIRL FIEND strives to bridge the sexist gap that is still prevalent in today’s music industry. GF’s goal is to create a platform for female artists, music writers and music photographers to promote their work and their art, forming a community of shared experience.
